The PASPCR web site has gone through a number of revisions. The PASPCR web site was initially a Gopher site. The PASPCR Gopher site was created on 2/28/94 by Dr. DeWayne Townsend at the University of Minnesota.

This is no longer an active gopher site. This site contained information on the PASPCR including the PASPCR by-laws and early editions of the PASPCR newsletter. This site also contained the initial entries of the IFPCS InterPig database.

The first PASPCR Web site was located at N.I.H. as part of the Pigment Cell Research Interest Group web site. The Webmaster was Dr. Vince Hearing. This was a short lived URL address and the web pages were quickly moved to a server at the University of Minnesota.

The second PASPCR Web site was created in 1995 by Dean Flanders and Bill Oetting at the University of Minnesota, based on the source code from the previous web site at N.I.H., and was located at http://lenti.med.umn.edu/linkage/paspcr.html. This URL address is no longer active.

The third PASPCR Web site was created on 12/95 by Bill Oetting, initially based on the previous web site source code. The address for this site was http://lenti.med.umn.edu/paspcr and this address is also inactive.

The Web page was moved on 5/99 to http://www.cbc.umn.edu/paspcr due to a change in the Web page server. This URL address is no longer active.

The domain name paspcr.org was obtained on 6/25/01. See domain registration information at this link.
